Generation change at BITO: after 27 years at BITO and 8 years as managing director for the production division, Hubert Bohr retires. Werner Magin (49), his successor, accounts for the production, technical procedures, maintenance, tool building, production scheduling, sourcing and puchasing departments. Mr. Magin does not break new ground – he knows the industry as he has already worked as purchasing manager of the storage specialist. On account of the rapid growth of BITO, the new managing director will meet some challenges. “For a manufacturing company such as BITO, planning and organisation of procedures are particularly important. We will have to adapt structures and work processes have to be properly planned and organised according to defined standards in order to achieve our growth targets on domestic and international markets,“ explains Magin.
