Computer chips, parts and components for the production and repair of mobiles, sensors – electronic components demand special attention during storage and transport. On account of their sensitiveness to electrostatic charging, these components need to be stored and transported in containers which are able to lead off electrostatic charges. BITO’s new container range from dissipative polypropylene provides the right conditions for such products.

The pharmaceutical wholesaler Leopold Fiebig GmbH & Co. KG established a new distribution centre in Rheinstetten close to Karlsruhe in Germany. The order which was placed with BITO-Lagertechnik Bittmann GmbH covered the supply and the assembly of an automated bin storage installation type AKL and the delivery of 48000 containers which can be subdivided into up to 8 compartments if required. The total order volume for the storage facility and the containers amounts to 1.6 million EUR. The order was realised in cooperation with the Austrian Klug GmbH as general contractor and TGW-Transportgeräte GmbH, also based in Austria.
